What is needed?

This project will be a sustainability showcase for BSOs and for young families who want to immerse their children in a warm sustainability bath without barriers. Finances are needed to create a place where continuous activities take place to promote an active attitude and to take our responsibility as human beings for a sustainable future.

Two thirds of the project has already been realised by KDV Zonnelicht. So what is still needed? For the unprofitable top we invite people to contribute financially. The unprofitable top amounts to €200,000.

A number of facilities are needed to make the project a success:

Financial resources for the site;
Modifications and making the building more sustainable: investments in solar energy, heat pump, construction of (children’s) workshop & healthy kitchen;
Equipment: green outdoor area, workshop, healthy kitchen and image & sound installations;

Do you know companies, funds, persons or do you want to organise a sponsoring activity? Then we would like to hear from you!

We are also looking for ambassadors who support this project and want to tell their grandparents, colleagues and friends about it. Spread the word!

When does what happen?

Wednesday 14 September we are having a Friends-making Evening. We would like to see you there as a Friend of Zonnelicht. It will be a pleasant evening with vegetarian dinner where more will be told about the plans of ‘Planting a sustainable seed’ & the Sustainable BSO. We hope to raise sponsorship for this project.

When Montesorri school KC at the Oosterplas moves into the new building (1 January 2023) is the fundraising deadline for ‘Planting a sustainable seed’.
